Community Center Swimming Pool Classes
A.M.Jump Start:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:45am
A moderate intensity shallow water class that gives
a cardiovascular workout with some strenthening
exercise and abdominal work.
Burn and Tone:
Monday-Saturday 11:15am-12:00pm
A low impact shallow water class. The workout is
cardiovascular with toning exercises for all major
muscle groups.
High Energy Splash:
Monday-Thursday 5:30pm-6:15pm
A high intensity, moderate impact shallow water
class designed to give a challenging cardiovascular
workout.
Deep Water Power:
(floating belts provided)
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:15am-9:00am
Monday, Wed., Friday & Saturday 11:00am - 11:45am
A no impact, high intensity deep water class perfect
for participants who cannot withstand impact or
want a cardiovascular challenge and overall workout.
Arthritis Foundation:
Monday-Friday 9:00am-9:45am
AFAP gives the opportunity to do a gentle range of
motion activities in warmed water with guidance from
a certified instructor. Ideal for those recovering from
orthopedic surgery.
Aqua-Trend Stations
These are designed to provide, "liquid resistance." A
muscle training program that is safer and more effort efficient
than land-based training. Ask the lifeguard on duty to
help you get started with this equipment.
