According to the American Academy of Pediatrics more than 14 million children and adolescents in the United States, or 1 in 5, have a diagnosable mental health disorder that requires intervention or monitoring and interferes with daily functioning. Centers for Youth and Families offers a variety of Intervention programs designed to assist Arkansas children and their families in managing and improving daily functioning.
Intervention services include 24-hour/7 day a week Psychiatric Emergency Services and a Youth Emergency Shelter for children who need temporary support and housing. Therapeutic Foster Homes and Transitional Living Programs are also offered through The Centers' Intervention Services.
