Parenting Classes


Our parent education curriculum includes evening classes, as well as lunch and learn classes. We are available to provide private classes/workshops on a contract basis for your group or organization! Please contact us to find out more about this option. We hope to help your family grow through parental participation in a class.


ACTIVE PARENTING for Family Stabilization

These one time, two hour classes are for parents who are required to take court-ordered parenting class.  In the two hour course, we will teach basic parenting skills. Topics covered include: parenting styles, teaching responsibility, cooperation, respect, problem solving, and anger management. These classes are offered each month. 


Parenting through Divorce and Separation Class

Monday Evenings,  

6:00 - 8:00pm

June 6,  July 11, and August 1

September 12, October 3, November 7, or December 5

Trauma and Reunification Class

Monday evenings

6:00 - 8:00 pm

June 13, July 18,  August 8

September 19, October 10, November 14, or December 12

Cost:  $10 per class



Learn how to set limits, reduce power struggles, and understand your strong willed child in this 4-week class. Parents will learn to recognize what triggers misbehavior and how to foster a relationship that will make their child more compliant.  This class is geared toward children ages 4-18

DAY OPTION::  Tuesday Mornings from 10 am -12 pm  • September 6, 13, 20, 27

NIGHT OPTION::  Tuesday evenings from 6 pm - 8 pm  •  October 4, 11, 18, 25

Cost is $40 per family

Designed for parents of children age 4 years + with an ADHD diagnosis.  This class helps parents gain a better understanding of ADHD and learn proven strategies to help the behavior and attend of a child diagnosed with ADHD. 

Lunch and Learn::  Wednesdays from 12 pm - 1 pm  September 7, 14, 21, 28

Cost is $40 per family

For parents of children ages five through eighteen. In this six-week course you will learn the “love and logic” approach to encouraging mutual respet, good descision-making, and responsible behavior.

Tuesday Evenings from 6 pm - 8pm   • October 4, 11, 18, 25, and November 1, 8

Cost is $60 per family
