Parenting Classes

PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES - Winter | Spring  2016

Our parent education curriculum includes evening classes, as well as lunch and learn classes. We are available to provide private classes/workshops on a contract basis for your group or organization! Please contact us to find out more about this option. We hope to help your family grow through parental participation in a class.



Learn how to set limits, reduce power struggles, and understand your strong willed child in this 6-week class. Parents will learn to recognize what triggers misbehavior and how to foster a relationship that will make their child more compliant.  This class is geared toward children ages 4-18.

Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm
February 2 - March 1
Instructor:  Beth McAlpine

Cost is $50 per family

This class helps parents gain a better understanding of ADHD and learn proven strategies to help the behavior and attend of a child diagnosed with ADHD.

Cost is $30 per family 


Parenting with Love and Logic

For parents of children ages 5 through eighteen.  In this six week course, you will learn the "love and logic" approach to encouraging mutual respect, good decision making, and responsible behavior.  

Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm
March 29 - May 3

Cost is $60 per family
