Parenting Classes


Our parent education curriculum includes evening classes, as well as lunch and learn classes. We are available to provide private classes/workshops on a contract basis for your group or organization! Please contact us to find out more about this option. We hope to help your family grow through parental participation in a class.


ACTIVE PARENTING for Family Stabilization

This class is for parents who are required to take court-ordered parenting class.  These classes teach basic parenting skills. Topics covered include: parenting styles, teaching responsibility, cooperation, respect, problem solving, and anger management. These ongoing classes are offered each month. The first Monday of each month will focus on parenting through divorce and separation.  The second Monday class of the month will focus on trauma and reunification.

Cost:  $10 per class



Learn how to set limits, reduce power struggles, and understand your strong willed child in this 4-week class. Parents will learn to recognize what triggers misbehavior and how to foster a relationship that will make their child more compliant.  This class is geared toward children ages 4-18.

Designed for parents of children age 4 years + with an ADHD diagnosis.  This class helps parents gain a better understanding of ADHD and learn proven strategies to help the behavior and attend of a child diagnosed with ADHD.

TEACHING with Love and Logic

Imagine a classroom with less stress, fewer discipline problems, and kids who are willing to learn in your class. It can happen! This class will teach you how to spend less time on discipline and studen disruptions, guide students to solve their own probelmens and set and enforce limits without ever raising your voice, and end each day with more energy leftover for yourself and your family. 

Tuesday afternoon 3pm-5pm
June 14, 21, 28, July 5, and 12

Cost is $60 per person

** This class counts for up to 12 hours of Continuing Education for Teachers
